Gold Membership confirmation process explained

We have had some queries from SSAA members who have upgraded to the SSAA Gold Membership option and are seeking confirmation of their transaction. To clarify:

  • If a member upgrades to Gold Membership online, they will receive an email confirming that the payment has been received.
  • If a member upgrades to Gold by post or fax, they will receive a letter confirming that the upgrade has been applied to their membership.
  • If a member upgrades to Gold by phone, the payment will be confirmed while they wait and a receipt number will be provided to them immediately.

Members who upgrade to Gold at the same time as their annual SSAA membership renewal will receive their membership card in the mail with their ‘Gold’ status clearly printed on the card.

Our 5-Year Adult and financial Life Members who have applied for Gold Membership will receive a letter confirming that their upgrade has been applied to their membership. However, ‘Gold’ will not appear on their membership card as the Gold upgrade is only valid for a maximum of 12 months.
