Thursday, March 21: Bench draw will be available.
Friday, March 22: Practice and flag set-up from midday.
Saturday, March 23: Centrefire 500m Fly - Five-target competition and warmer/practice target, 9am commence fire. The 500m shoot will be a registered match and count towards Shooter of the Year.
Sunday, March 24: Rimfire 200m Fly - Five-target competition and warmer/practice target, 8am commence fire. The 200m shoot will be a registered match and count toward Shooter of the Year.
Nominations close March 18. Fees: $50 per class or $130 for all three, can be paid on arrival. Nominations to: [email protected] Please include name, calibre (if more than one class - calibre for each class), class or classes you wish to shoot, details regarding sharing equipment (with whom and what), junior or left-hander, contact phone number, email address and any other details you may have for the equipment list.
Light Gun, Heavy Gun and Rimfire competition will be run in accordance with SSAA Fly Shoot Rulebook current at time of competition. Note: SSAA Wagga Range does not allow .338 and larger cartridges at this time. If you have questions about your rifle’s eligibility for use please contact the club.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd plus Small Group and High Scoring Target for Light, Heavy and Rimfire. Patches for hits on the Fly. Overall two-day winner collects a Maddco 31-inch 6mm 1:8 stainless barrel supplied by Luke Easter at Pro-Cal Trading.
Catering will be provided by the Gungahlin Lions Club. Camping is $5 per person per night. Hot showers, toilets, cooking facilities and electricity provided.
