Saturday, March 24: Centrefire 500m Fly: 5 target competition plus warmer/practice target, 8.30am start. The 500m Shoot will be a registered match and count towards Shooter of the Year.
Sunday, March 24: 200y Rimfire Fly, 8.30am start. Registered match and will count towards RF Shooter of the Year.
Close March 18. $50 one class, $90 two classes, $120 all three. Fees can be paid on arrival. Light Gun, Heavy Gun and Rimfire competition will be run in accordance with the SSAA Benchrest Fly rule book, current at the time of the competition. Note: SSAA Big Springs does not allow .338 and larger cartridges at this time, Rimfire will also include a factory class (not eligible for records) but prizes as per Registered match classes. Factory rimfire rules will be: Factory stock, Factory barrel, any scope, any trigger, functioning magazine, no flat fore ends, no designated target rifles/models.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Small Group and High Scoring Target Saturday for Light and Heavy and Sunday for Custom and Factory. Patches for hits on the Fly both days. Overall two-day winner will be offered either a Maddco 6mm barrel or Ratchet 22LR barrel supplied by Pro-cal Trading. Remaining barrel will be lucky door prize. To be eligible must shoot both days.
Catering will be provided by the Aimee St Clair Foundation, lunch Saturday and Sunday. Camping is $5 per person per night. Hot showers, toilets, cooking facilities and electricity is provided.
