Rules for users of the SSAA National Facebook page

Members of the SSAA are invited to ‘like’ our SSAA National Facebook page and join in the conversation about the latest sports shooting, recreational hunting and firearms news. Our Facebook page is a great way for our members to keep informed about any issues or special announcements, however we do ask members of this forum to adhere to a few rules to ensure a safe online environment for all involved.

  1. As a SSAA member, you have agreed to adhere to responsible and ethical behaviour, and to do all you can to preserve the good image of the sport and the SSAA. This includes your involvement on our Facebook page.
  2. The administrators reserve the right to remove a post and to ban anyone who violates the page.
  3. While debate and healthy discussions are encouraged, the administrators will not tolerate rudeness, profanity, insulting or defamatory posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory comments.
  4. Any post that puts the reputation of the SSAA at risk will be deleted, and the user potentially banned.
