Buck Knives celebrates 50th anniversary of the 110 Folding Hunter

The classic 110 Folding Hunter from Buck Knives has been transformed this year in celebration of its 50th anniversary. This commemorative version, which will be included on all Model 110s for 2014, features an anniversary medallion on the handle and custom blade stamp denoting 50 years. The 50th Anniversary Edition 110 is available in plain or finger grooved handle and each comes with a genuine leather sheath. The famous features of the 110 remain, such as the Macassar Ebony Dymondwood handle and brass bolsters.

First introduced by Al Buck in 1964, the Model 110 revolutionised the industry and quickly became a top seller with its breakthrough folding locking system. Now, as one of the worlds most imitated and easily recognised knives, the Model 110 continues to serve as proof that one man’s hope and determination can transform into a legacy passed on through generations.

“The 110 was a landmark in the success of Buck Knives,” said Chuck Buck, chairman of Buck Knives. “I remember when my dad was designing the 110; he wanted a folding knife that would be reliable and contain the features he felt were important for a good knife. He always believed in doing things right in order to succeed. This year signifies the longevity of the 110 and reminds us of the faithful patronage of our customers.”

Buck products are available at all good gun and outdoor shops around Australia.
