SSAA Farmer Assist program

You're insured - benefits of SSAA membership

One of the first questions that farmers and private landowners ask if you want to hunt on their property is: do you have public liability insurance? If you are a SSAA member, the answer is yes because membership comes with $20m public liability insurance. The Wildlife Man explains that SSAA members are protected for legal negligence on public or private property anywhere in Australia. Additionally, SSAA members are covered for loss of income up to $750 per week and $75,000 capital benefits up to $75,000 if they have an accident when engaged in a recognised shooting activity whether in the field or on the range.
